| About Our Business Ortonville Cemetery is a Non-profit cemetery run by a nine member board. We are a perpetual care cemetery that is audited by the State of Michigan. Fifteen percent of all income must be put into escrow for cemetery maintenance. When the cemetery has sold all of the plots, niches and no other source of income is available, the escrow will be used to maintain the grounds. There is a cemetery maintenance crew of four that works to keep the grounds looking good and keep the facilities in repair. This crew is lead by the Sexton and assistant sexton through the summer months. During the winter season only the Sexton and his assistant are on site. All sales and services are handled through the Sexton. The Sexton can be reached at 248-627-8413. |
